Camping & good camp craft is the ideal activity at Tanagh to meet Outdoor Education objectives. These programmes designed specifically for Secondary School & Youth Groups and also fulfill the requirements of the Junior Cycle PE and Leaving Cert. Applied syllabus.
Our camp craft programmes teach students all the skills needed for remote camping and include tent pitching, equipment, building temporary shelters and emergency shelters from natural materials, camp safety, cooking outdoors and the ‘Leave no Trace’ principles.
Canoe camping expeditions are run as part of programmes designed for the visiting groups
