Mountain Skills 1 (MS1) Training Course 
8.55am-6pm on both days.
The Mountain Skills 1 course will give you the personal skills required for hill walking in Ireland. It will also give you the tools to start the process of becoming self sufficient on the hills.

Adults Learn to Paddle. Limited space on this course. Learn to paddle a Kayak and a Canoe on the Dromore River. The Dromore river is the ideal location for learning on as it is a calm, sheltered, flat water river. The course is 4 weeks running for 3hrs each session. Our fully qualified instructors will deliver the course. All equipment including wetsuit, buoyancy aid, boat and paddle will be provided.

Tanagh OETC are running a Kayak Skills Camp over the Easter break. The Canoeing Ireland Skills 1+2 are designed to introduce paddlers to the basic kayak skills in a fun and safe environment. This is a 3 day non-residential camp which will run from 10am-2pm. Suitable for those aged 9-16yrs. Own transport required.

Tanagh Forest School is a nature based activity programme of exploration and discovery. It gives children a foundation in outdoor skills while developing their abilities and confidence in the great oudoors.
This is a 3 day non-residential forest school which will run from 10am-2pm. Suitable for those aged 6-11yrs.

Tanagh Gearing Up Off Road Taster Programme.
Gearing up off road is a new initiative that has been launched by Cycling Ireland. Gearing up off road is Cycling Ireland's mountain bike skills programme designed to develop the skills needed to safely and competently enjoy mountain biking. This course is an introduction to mountain biking and will cover some of the skills on the syllabus.
Age: 12-16yrs

Tanagh Heriatge Canoe Trail on the Dromore River.
Taking in the sights and scenes if the beautiful meandering Dromore River. Frequent stops to observe and investigate both the natural and cultural landscape. Stopping to see the mud and cop built houses in Closagh, The Dromlona Crannog, Dartrey Temple and the River bed and bank Flora and Fauna.
This is a relaxing canoe paddle suitable for all ages especially those interested in wildlife, history, archaeology and natural beauty.
